Welcome
Welcome to my web site. Check the links above to find out more about my research, my teaching, and for some useful resources for students.
I teach courses in security studies in the Department of Public and International Affairs at George Mason University. I am also the Director of the Biodefense Program, a graduate program focused on the intersection of science, technology, and policy relating to national and international security. Most of my own research revolves around the intersection of national security, the news media, and public opinion.
